Information for all our employees

In Denmark it has been decided by our prime minister that all non-life-threatening public institutions will be closed for 14 days and that as many people as possible should work from home.

This means schools, kindergartens, museums, sports clubs and generally everything where many people gather.

This has been done in order for the prevalence of the Corona infection to spread as slowly as possible so that our hospitals are not overcrowded. In this way we ensure that those who need it, mainly the elderly and ill, can receive treatment, but also so that we can maintain treatment of those already in hospital with other serious illnesses.

On the other hand it is important to keep all the private companies such as production, crafts, shops, the food industry etc up and running to keep up the economy in Denmark and the rest of the world as best as possible.

In Denmark there will be no shortage of food and our grocery stores will stay open, so we are not going to lack food.

Viktech therefore encourage as many of our customers and employees as possible to keep up projects and tasks to the greatest extent possible.

In addition to the public institutions being closed, additional border controls have also been put in place at the border with Germany and at the airport, where, for example, no flights from Italy can be landed.

It can be difficult to predict whether it will apply to flights from other countries, or whether it will mean closed borders to Denmark.

For foreign employees who return home and who cannot return for a period of time, this will mean that you do not have any income from Denmark.

Therefore, you may have to think about whether to go home on the weekend, or whether to wait 1 or 2 weeks to go home to ensure your income. This is a difficult question. In addition, we have heard from some customers that they are afraid that the employees returning home over the weekend will return with Corona.

Of course, in Viktech, we fully understand that you want to go home to your family and not least when there is so much going on in Europe because of Corona as there is right now.

But as the governments of both Denmark, Poland and Germany say, we must also think about what will be the best decision for our country, our family and ourselves without panicking.

To all those who are at work, we must not forget to say that you should avoid kissing, hugging, shaking hands, drinking the same beer/soda etc.

Think about it and use your common sense.

Hope you get on well with your work and we thank you for your effort.

At Viktech, we will continuously keep you informed of the developments.
